Do you appreciate a good phlebotomist? Phlebotomists are integral members of the medical laboratory team. Help us recognize them during Phlebotomists Recognition Week will be observed nationally on February 15-19, 2021.

Everyone appreciates a good phlebotomist, and while they make it look easy, what you don’t see is the hours of practice and training they put into their craft.

Most lab errors are in the pre- and post-analytic phase, so a good phlebotomist is key to maintaining quality in laboratory testing.
